Occupational Therapist (OT) - Home Health - Part Time

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized occupational therapy to patients with limitations due to illness or injury
• Assess patient needs, identify deficits, and establish therapy goals
• Assist with exercises to enhance fine motor skills and coordination
• Recommend adaptive equipment to improve home safety and support
• Assess fall risks and implement strategies to reduce hazards
• Educate patients and families on care plans, exercises, and self-care
• Collaborate with a home health team including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, HHAs, PTs, and SLPs

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program with an active OT license in New Jersey
• Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience, preferably in home healthcare
• CPR certification and knowledge of home health regulations
• Strong clinical judgment, interpersonal skills, and compassion
