Occupational Therapist (OT), Home Health, Full-Time, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

About the role

The Occupational Therapist at PIH Health provides therapeutic services in accordance with physician's orders to patients having upper extremity impairment, deficits in ADL ability, diseases or disorders requiring energy conservation, and diseases or disorders requiring re-education of swallowing mechanism.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care utilizing correct body mechanics.
• Evaluates and treats a variety of diagnoses for patients who may be infants, children, adults, or older adults.
• Cognizant of home health standards and practices, including assessments specific to discipline and documentation requirements.

Requirements

• Registered or eligible for registration by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapists (NBCOT) and the California Board of Occupational Therapy.
• Maintains a current California occupational therapist license.

Qualifications

• Competent to evaluate and treat a variety of diagnoses for patients who may be infants, children, adults, or older adults.
• Basic computer knowledge and abilities.

Skills

• Ability to perform patient care utilizing correct body mechanics.
• Basic Windows and mouse skills preferred.
• Basic splinting skills preferred.

$46.00 - $75.44 per hour
