Occupational Therapist (OT) & COTA - Ewa Beach

Location: O'ahu, Hawaii (reliable transportation required)

Pay

• Occupational Therapist (OT): $80 per routine visit or $100,000–$120,000 annually (based on caseload)
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA): $60 per visit

About the role

As an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Always Best Care Home Health—a growing Medicare-certified agency serving O’ahu—you’ll provide one-on-one therapy in patients’ homes, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services in patients’ homes
• Complete initial evaluations and follow-up visits
• Perform fall risk assessments and home safety evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (OT)
• Assist with treatment interventions established by the supervising OT (COTA)
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes with the interdisciplinary team
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation

Requirements

• Active Hawaii Occupational Therapist license (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license (COTA)
• Minimum one year of clinical experience (home health experience preferred but not required)
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Comfortable with community outreach and educational presentations
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team
