About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing customized treatment plans to enhance the functional abilities of our patients. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support the overall well-being of our residents. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping patients maintain their independence, improve their quality of life, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement individualized occupational therapy programs for patients and residents
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to track patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and residents on safe living skills, adaptive techniques, and strategies for maintaining independence
• Document patient progress and treatment plans in our electronic medical records system
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and share best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (OT)
• New Jersey State OT licensure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
