Occupational Therapist (OT)

About the role

Powerback is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered care in an in-facility setting. This role reports to the Director of Rehab and focuses on assessing patient needs, developing recovery plans, and delivering occupational therapy to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized recovery plans
• Deliver occupational therapy to help patients regain physical abilities and independence
• Address the whole patient and adapt to each individual's needs
• Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity
• Collaborate with peers and make referrals when needed to ensure patients receive comprehensive care

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards
• Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
• Valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice

Pay

USD $41.00 - $45.00 /Hr. with a USD $5,000.00 bonus.
