Position Summary: The Occupational Therapist (OT) provides direct occupational therapy rehabilitation care based on physician referrals, adhering to legal, regulatory, and organizational standards. Qualifications: Must be NBCOT certified (renewal optional), licensed in the applicable state, with a preference for one year of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply. CPR certification is required. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement patient treatment plans, setting realistic and measurable goals.Assess and modify therapy plans as needed.Supervise and evaluate work of OT assistants, rehab aides, and students.Maintain accurate and timely documentation and utilize therapy software effectively.Coordinate with patients, families, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care.Participate in community health initiatives and uphold confidentiality and professionalism.Follow safety, sanitation, and legal guidelines, demonstrating good body mechanics and independent decision-making.Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive, professional attitude.Assist in patient evacuation and perform physical activities such as sitting, standing, and lifting as needed. Skills and Attributes: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and adherence to company policies and ethical standards. Must demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and dependable attendance.
