Occupational Therapist (OT)

The Horsham Center for Jewish Life, located in beautiful North Wales, PA, is a facility with 270 long-term care beds, 54 short-term rehabilitation beds, and 48 apartments in our personal care unit.

About the role

The Occupational Therapist works under the leadership of the Director of Rehabilitation to provide therapy to residents throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment plans including long-term and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities.
• Deliver treatments utilizing modalities and modify treatment plans as indicated, while adhering to precautions.
• Participate in developing and implementing resident assessments and care plans.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team to improve residents' quality of life by providing optimal care and addressing care plans.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited college with a B.S., Doctorate, MA, or MS in Occupational Therapy recognized by AOTA.
• Current license and/or registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience with the geriatric population is preferred.
