Occupational Therapist (OT)

About the role

Responsible for delivering safe and effective Occupational Therapy services by conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing patient education to achieve functional goals. Communicates professionally with patients, families, and team members to promote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with conditions impacting self-care, mobility, or independence.
• Implement therapy techniques and rehabilitation strategies based on diagnosis.
• Maintain detailed, clear documentation of clinical content.
• Foster teamwork within multidisciplinary settings.
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and independence.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon Occupational Therapist license.
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
• Knowledge of physical and cognitive rehabilitation principles.
• Strong communication, counseling, and business writing skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage time efficiently in dynamic environments.

Physical Demands

• May include climbing, lifting up to 60+ lbs, manual dexterity, and various mobility activities, performed frequently to continually as needed.
