Responsibilities

• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Provides direct therapy using appropriate activities and strategies to promote health and meet treatment goals.
• Evaluates patients, gathers data, and modifies interventions accordingly.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and team members regarding patient progress and needs.
• Prepares documentation such as evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Participates in interdisciplinary team efforts and program development.
• Maintains professional growth through ongoing education and mentoring students.

Requirements

• Active occupational therapy license in the practice state.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations, from infants to geriatrics.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
• Commitment to ethical standards, patient confidentiality, and safety regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of clinical experience.
