Occupational Therapist (OT)

Role Overview

Provides safe and effective Occupational Therapy services through evaluation, treatment, and education tailored to patient needs and goals. Communicates professionally with patients, families, and team members to promote teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with physical or cognitive conditions affecting self-care, mobility, or independence.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain clear documentation and professional communication.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current unencumbered Oregon Occupational Therapist license.
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
• Knowledge of diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation principles.
• Strong communication, counseling, and business writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively in team environments, manage time efficiently, and adapt to fast-paced settings.

Physical Demands

Includes activities such as lifting, climbing, crawling, reaching, and manual dexterity, requiring physical endurance and mobility to perform the duties effectively.
