About the role
We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a team in a fast-paced, 11-bed rehabilitation unit.
Responsibilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans to improve patient well-being using exercises and prosthetic/orthotic devices
- Communicate patient progress and concerns to team members and supervise staff
- Instruct patients' families and nursing staff on follow-up care
- Document patient care in compliance with regulations and standards
- Maintain equipment and work area safety and cleanliness
- Adhere to professional standards, legal requirements, and company policies
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current, unrestricted OT license in the service location
- CPR certification
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Accepting new graduates
