About the role

Provides direct patient care within the Acute Care Rehabilitation department, focusing on creating tailored intervention plans to help patients develop, regain, or maintain daily living, work, and leisure skills. Facilitates patient participation in meaningful activities to promote independence and satisfaction, often through creative problem-solving and education on adaptive equipment, safety, and treatment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Model proficiency through precepting new staff
• Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (Master's preferred)
• Current licensure with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through recognized providers
