About the Role

Responsible for coordinating and delivering occupational therapy services, focusing on individual patient needs and treatment programs.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements personalized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Provides direct therapy using various strategies and settings to promote health and achieve treatment goals.
• Plans therapy tailored to patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive capabilities, integrating with overall care plans.
• Prepares documentation including evaluations, treatment progress, and reports per professional standards.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and team members about patient progress and needs.
• Establishes rapport with patients and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members throughout treatment.
• Participates in professional development, educational programs, and departmental program development.

Requirements

• Active occupational therapy license in the state of practice.
• Ability to perform essential functions, including effective communication and visual acuity.
• Preferred 1-3 years of clinical experience.
• Strong teamwork, professionalism, and commitment to patient-centered care.
