About the role

Evaluate and treat patients with diverse physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges to help them regain independence and improve their quality of life.
Design and implement personalized care plans that utilize the most effective modalities to ensure each patient reaches their recovery milestones.
Document and monitor patient progress journeys to maintain accurate records that ensure the highest standards of clinical care and safety.
Educate and empower families and caregivers by providing the tools and information necessary for a safe and successful transition back to the home environment.
Oversee and mentor the supporting clinical team to ensure all therapy services meet established practice standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Occupational Therapy (OT) credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Experience working with patients with diverse physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in using technology for patient care documentation.

Pay

Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus available.

Schedule

Day shift | Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm. Rotating weekends and holidays.
