Occupational Therapist II, CI
Main Purpose of Job
The main purpose of the Occupational Therapist II position is to provide occupational therapy services in a mental health setting, collaborate with a diverse team of health professionals, and engage effectively with high-risk patients.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience working in the mental health setting and/or with individuals with psychiatric conditions
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively engage others by maintaining emotional control and/or using persuasive communication techniques
- Skilled in safely and therapeutically engaging high-risk patients, including knowledge of security protocols, therapeutic boundaries, de-escalation, and integrating sensory/environmental modifications to ensure safety and mitigate aggression in a secure forensic environment
Licenses, Registrations and Certifications
