Occupational Therapist I

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition
• Measure patient progress
• Educate patients
• Implement effective therapy strategies

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Occupational Therapy
• Knowledge of therapy theories, procedures, and equipment
• Good communication skills and a proactive problem-solving approach
• Ability to assess and manage both simple and complex diagnoses
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Current Florida Occupational Therapy license and BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Preferred Experience

• Hospital-based rehabilitation
• Splinting/orthotic fabrication
• Less than one year of clinical experience in relevant settings
