About the role

Ameriwell Care, a leading support agency in New Jersey for adults with developmental disabilities, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist with our Home Health Visits program, you will have the opportunity to work directly with individuals in their own homes, providing personalized occupational therapy services to help them achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Conduct home-based occupational therapy visits to evaluate and treat individuals with developmental disabilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and goals
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including family members, caregivers, and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapy techniques and strategies to promote client independence, mobility, and participation in daily activities
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and billing information

Requirements

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) or related field
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of New Jersey
