Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care needs related to functional status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, home assessments, adaptive equipment, and other occupational therapy needs as defined by medical conditions.
• Determine a treatment plan based on assessment and evaluation.
• Perform interventions aimed at improving and enhancing the patient’s well-being.
• Evaluate the patient’s progress.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as biology, psychology, or health sciences required; Master’s Degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program required.
• Work Experience: Previous experience recommended.
• Licenses and Certifications:
  • OT – Occupational Therapist – Must be currently licensed in Occupational Therapy in the state of practice.
  • CPR – Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation – Required upon hire.
  • DL NUMBER – Driver’s License – Valid and in state; current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation required upon hire.
