General Summary

The Occupational Therapist will perform OT evaluation and treatment patient care duties under the supervision of the site Team Leader or Supervisor. They will communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, physicians, and other system employees regarding patient care needs and document all aspects of patient care. They will also supervise and delegate tasks to assistants and technicians as appropriate and complete necessary patient billing information.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Master's Degree, preferred

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS

• Current State of Michigan Registration
• National board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification

• Patient care setting
• Potential exposure to communicable disease
• Limited noise, temperature fluctuation, and dust
