Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist PRN

About the role

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a part-time or PRN Hand Therapist-Occupational Therapist for their outpatient orthopedic center in Summerville, SC. The schedule is PRN or part-time (Mon/Wed/Fri).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and create a plan of care for patients
• Treatment and discharge of patients
• Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients
• Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff
• Apply custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
• Work within the scope of practice as an occupational therapist

Requirements

• Graduate of an AOTA-accredited school of occupational therapy
• At least one (1) year of experience working in hand therapy
• CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
• Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred
