About the role
Select Physical Therapy is seeking a Per Diem Hand Therapist-Occupational Therapist for their outpatient orthopedic center. Although a certified hand therapist (CHT) is preferred, occupational therapists with a level II fieldwork in hands are also considered.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and develop a plan of care for patients
- Treatment and discharge planning
- Custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic procedures
- Maintain positive relationships with facilities and their staff
- Contribute to case management
Requirements
- Graduate of an AOTA-accredited school of occupational therapy
- CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license
Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
- Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred
