About the role
NovaCare Rehabilitation in Westminster, Maryland, is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist / Hand Therapist to join their dynamic outpatient team. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician passionate about upper-extremity care and eager to grow within a supportive, collaborative environment. While a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) designation is preferred, it is not required. Candidates must have prior outpatient orthopedic experience. We are especially seeking a therapist skilled in custom splinting.
Responsibilities
- Treat a diverse caseload of upper extremity conditions, including tendon injuries, sprains and strains, post-operative fractures, and other orthopedic and neurological conditions.
- Work closely with local and regional hand therapy clinicians and leaders to ensure you have the tools, mentorship, and support needed to succeed.
- Consider a hand therapist open for steady part-time hours as well.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school for occupational therapy.
- State Occupational Therapist license (or license eligible).
- CPR certification.
- Valid state driver’s license.
Qualifications
- Prior outpatient orthopedic experience.
- Skilled in custom splinting.
Skills
- Knowledge of evidence-based practice.
- Ability to build relationships with referral sources and maintain positive interactions with centers and patients.
- Experience in developing and implementing innovative opportunities.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to provide personalized treatment programs and complete patient care responsibilities and documentation requirements.

Pay
$85,000 - $95,000 with up to $10,000 sign-on bonus and/or ongoing student loan assistance.
Schedule
Full-time (32+ hours/week).
