Responsibilities
- Therapists are responsible for the application of current knowledge, theory, evidence and sound clinical judgment in patient management.
- Works closely with the patient, family and other members of an interdisciplinary team to provide efficient and effective individualized patient care.
- Serves as advocates and promoters of health, wellness, and fitness to all stakeholders.
- Serves as educators and mentors for therapy students, peers and other medical professionals.
- Aids in department and program planning.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Minnesota as an Occupational Therapist.
- Demonstrated skills in the areas of organization, communication, interpersonal relations, leadership, decision making and problem solving.
- Prefers board certification in clinical specialty area and/or advanced degree in health care field.
- Prefers active participation within professional organization.
- Current occupational therapy licensure in the state of Minnesota.
Compensation Detail
$76,731.20 - $115,003.20 / year
