Occupational Therapist / Full-time

About the role

Select Specialty Hospital - Erie is a critical illness recovery hospital that provides world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients. Occupational Therapists (OTs) are integral in delivering compassionate, high-quality care throughout the recovery process.

Responsibilities

• Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education, and adaptive equipment.
• Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants (OTAs) and OT and COTA students.
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens and monitor patients' responses to treatment.
• Participate in continuing education seminars and in-services.

Requirements

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Qualifications

• Experience in critical illness recovery settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay

$30.00 to $49.00 per hour.

Schedule

Full-Time, Week Days - Monday through Friday.
