About the Role
The Occupational Therapist (OT) plans and conducts treatment programs to enhance patients' physical, social, and mental functions. Serving as a co-leader within an interdisciplinary team, the OT evaluates patients, develops individualized treatment and discharge plans, and implements therapy interventions using appropriate protocols. The role involves supervising assistants, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and performing additional duties as needed.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations and establish personalized care plans.
- Ensure communication of care plans to relevant parties.
- Deliver therapy interventions effectively.
- Document clinical activities comprehensively and in a timely manner.
- Supervise assigned assistants.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) (license obtained on or after January 2007) or equivalent foreign credential.
- Valid state licensure in all applicable practice locations.
- CPR or BLS certification from an approved provider.
- Valid driver’s license and minimum age of 21.
