Responsibilities
- Help residents regain independence and improve quality of life
- Deliver individualized, evidence-based therapy
- Collaborate closely with nursing and leadership teams
- Develop and administer therapy programs aimed at improving patients' physical, mental, and emotional well-being
- Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to create personalized treatment plans for patients
- Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare professionals regarding treatment plans and patient outcomes
- Stay up to date with the latest therapy techniques and methodologies
Requirements
- Valid State OT License
Qualifications
- Compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Assisted Living environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
