Occupational Therapist for Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program
Job Responsibilities
- Managing medical records and requesting records from outside agencies
- Completing and tracking individual rehabilitation plans obtaining authorizations for services
- Reviewing client services to meet COMAR and billable standards
- Supervising PRP counselors
- Checking for note corrections and releasing notes
- Scheduling new referrals and completing intake assessments
- Keeping regular contact with PRP counselors
- Mediating client complaints
- Aiding in the rehabilitation of our clients
- Attending weekly management staff meetings
- Train rehabilitation counselors
Minimum Requirements
- Thorough understanding of clinical documentation
- Working understanding of COMAR regulations for outpatient mental health and clinical documentation
- Effective time management skills and the ability to work independently
- Full understanding of ethics in clinical care and crisis intervention
Required Education
- Master's
Required Experience
- Must be a licensed social worker, counselor, psychologist, or a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner
Required License or Certification
- Occupational Therapist
Compensation
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
