Occupational Therapist - Contractor
Description
Treatment Smarts is seeking enthusiastic OTs with a passion for helping children turn challenges into triumphs to join their expanding team in a full-time capacity. Applicants must have experience working with pediatric clients, either through employment or fieldwork, with a preference for experience in a school setting.
Requirements
Role & Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations and periodic reevaluations for pediatric clients (ages 3-10).
- Administer standardized assessments and conduct clinical observations.
- Prepare clear, timely, and thorough written evaluation reports with measurable goals and recommendations.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support service planning.
- Maintain compliance with documentation and billing requirements.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in North Carolina.
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric experience; evaluation experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in various pediatric assessment tools (e.g., PDMS-2, BOT-2, Sensory Profile).
- Strong written communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
Compensation & Schedule
Paid per completed evaluation.
Flexible schedule; assignments based on need.
Evaluations may occur in Durham, Chapel Hill, and partner sites (schools, daycares, Headstart programs).

Salary Description
