About the role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist or Certified Hand Therapist to join our healthcare team in Hillsboro.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, plan, and implement comprehensive treatment programs to help patients improve their mobility, manage pain, and enhance their quality of life.
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Perform occupational therapy treatments using various therapeutic techniques and modalities.
  • Design and implement rehabilitation programs for patients with diverse conditions.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Supervise and guide Therapy Assistants and support staff.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in EMR systems.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and home exercise programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Occupational Therapy Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Proven clinical experience in occupational therapy.
  • Extensive knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and treatment methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and MS Office.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and movement science.
  • Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations.
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional development.

Additional Information

  • Compensation Range: $85K - $100K Based on Experience
