Occupational Therapist/Certified Hand Therapist - Gillette, WY

About the role

The Occupational Therapist/Certified Hand Therapist will provide direct patient care, consultative services, and education to patients and their families at Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare in Gillette, WY.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients with a variety of diagnoses including but not limited to traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, and spinal cord injuries.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to guide treatment planning.
• Provide consultative services to other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Train and educate patients and families on self-management techniques and adaptive strategies.

Requirements

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Wyoming.
• Experience in pediatric occupational therapy is preferred.
• Knowledge of hand therapy principles and techniques.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with electronic health record systems.
