Occupational Therapist

About the role

Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Occupational Therapist to support students across our component school districts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with medical referrals and educational goals
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students
• Maintain appropriate documentation and progress reports
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide instruction and oversight to support staff assigned to occupational therapy services
• Perform related duties as required

Qualifications

• A licensed or license-eligible Occupational Therapist (per NYS requirements)
• Strong assessment, planning, and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams
• Commitment to supporting students in educational environments
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
