About the role
Therapeutic Associates is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Providence St. Joseph Medical Center In-patient/Acute Rehab in Burbank, CA. We pride ourselves on providing 1:1 patient care and maintaining strong relationships with our referral sources.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial evaluations and accurately assess patient conditions to develop appropriate goals and treatment plans.
- Work an established schedule with flexibility according to daily clinic needs and complete accurate documentation through EMR (EPIC) software.
- Meet the demands of the clinic's schedule, work effectively with support staff as appropriate, and perform other duties as required.
- Aim to embrace their role as mentor and teammate, supporting other staff as needed and fostering the advancement of Therapeutic Associates, Inc. as a learning organization.
- Demonstrate eagerness to advance clinical skills and develop personal leadership excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from an institution approved by the state board in collaboration with the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- Current State Occupational Therapist License.
- 1+ year of therapy experience with adult physical disabilities required.
- 1+ year therapy experience in related rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Current CPR certification.
- Commitment to top quality patient care.
- Demonstrated eagerness to advance clinical skills and develop personal leadership excellence.
- Ability to work an established schedule with flexibility according to daily clinic needs.
