Occupational Therapist

About the role

Occupational Therapists in this role provide personalized 1:1 rehabilitative therapy in patients' homes and communities, aiding recovery from surgeries, illnesses, or accidents. They assess patient needs, develop treatment plans, and adjust care based on evolving conditions. Practicing independently within an interdisciplinary team, they contribute to patient recovery and functional improvement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
• Deliver personalized rehabilitation therapies in home or care facilities
• Evaluate and update care plans in response to patient progress

Requirements

• Minimum one-year occupational therapy experience or successful completion of probationary period as a Rehab Intern
• Licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist in New York State
• Valid driver’s license required outside Manhattan
