Responsibilities
- Participate in team evaluations to determine developmental status and initial or ongoing eligibility.
- Develop IEP's with other team members.
- Maintain professional standards, and current skills in therapy techniques.
- Provide occupational therapy services for children.
- Write progress notes on time schedule addressing the child's strengths, needs and progress.
- Complete record keeping as required by licensing/certifying agency.
- Aid in maintaining equipment and workspace.
- Attend staff meetings, case conferences, and other meetings as assigned.
- Assist in staff development and training.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or its equivalent in the field of Occupational Therapy from a recognized college or university.
- Current license by the State Board of Registration in Medicine.
- Three years experience working with children as a therapist is preferred.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Pay
Compensation $60,000-$85,000
