About the role

SportsCare & Armworks is excited to welcome a dedicated and motivated Occupational or Physical therapist to join our large hand team with an enthusiastic attitude to grow and develop their skills as a PRN (unbenefitted) hand therapist in our various Portland Metro locations for immediate hire.

Responsibilities

  • Grow and develop their skills as a PRN (unbenefitted) hand therapist in our various Portland Metro locations.
  • Participate in a mentorship program for Occupational or Physical therapists who are interested in becoming a CHT.
  • Provide comprehensive OT and PT treatment approaches to patients at our 6 convenient clinic locations throughout the Portland metro area, with an additional location in Salem, OR.
  • Enjoy being part of a collaborative team of OTs, PTs, Assistants, and Aides focused on being educators, guides, and coaches with their patients to get the best outcomes.
  • Understand the issues faced by patients every day due to the combination of a PT and OT leadership team who regularly treat patients.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited college with an AOTA curriculum.
  • Current state of OR occupational therapy license, current CHT license, CPR certification.
  • Experience in splinting preferred, or a strong willingness to learn splinting techniques.
  • A therapist who is a coach, guide, and educator for their patients.
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills with the ability to multitask while providing an exceptional experience for anyone who enters the clinic.
  • A passion for occupational therapy, hand therapy, and patient care.
  • Enjoys working in a dynamic and multi-therapist team environment.

Qualifications
