About the role
SportsCare & Armworks is excited to welcome a dedicated and motivated Occupational or Physical therapist to join our large hand team with an enthusiastic attitude to grow and develop their skills as a PRN (unbenefitted) hand therapist in our various Portland Metro locations for immediate hire.
Responsibilities
- Grow and develop their skills as a PRN (unbenefitted) hand therapist in our various Portland Metro locations.
- Participate in a mentorship program for Occupational or Physical therapists who are interested in becoming a CHT.
- Provide comprehensive OT and PT treatment approaches to patients at our 6 convenient clinic locations throughout the Portland metro area, with an additional location in Salem, OR.
- Enjoy being part of a collaborative team of OTs, PTs, Assistants, and Aides focused on being educators, guides, and coaches with their patients to get the best outcomes.
- Understand the issues faced by patients every day due to the combination of a PT and OT leadership team who regularly treat patients.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited college with an AOTA curriculum.
- Current state of OR occupational therapy license, current CHT license, CPR certification.
- Experience in splinting preferred, or a strong willingness to learn splinting techniques.
- A therapist who is a coach, guide, and educator for their patients.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills with the ability to multitask while providing an exceptional experience for anyone who enters the clinic.
- A passion for occupational therapy, hand therapy, and patient care.
- Enjoys working in a dynamic and multi-therapist team environment.
Qualifications
