About the role
Sentara Health Acute Care is seeking an Occupational Therapist - PRN Float Pool for multiple locations including Sentara Norfolk General, Sentara Leigh Hospital, Sentara Virginia Beach General, Sentara Princess Anne Hospital, and Sentara Obici Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic interventions to promote independence and participation in daily activities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Assess patient needs and modify treatment plans accordingly.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare providers.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- NBCOT (National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required within 6 months of eligibility.
- Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Virginia.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred.

Pay
$60 per hour based on a minimum of 64 hours per month - some holiday coverage required as well.
