Occupational Therapist

About the Role

Rehab Without Walls is hiring Occupational Therapists to join our team in Salt Lake City, Provo, and Ogden, UT. We are looking for an experienced OT who is enthusiastic about providing functional rehabilitation wherever life happens—whether at home, school, work, or in the community. You will treat clients in real-life environments such as cooking in their kitchen, navigating grocery stores, restaurants, outdoor activities, and the workplace. This role thrives in an autonomous setting while being part of a collaborative team of dynamic therapists. Knowledge and experience treating clients with complex neurological injuries (minimum 3 years preferred) is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Regularly re-assess the effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings, and family conferences
• Perform discharge evaluations, make recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources
• Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services, and family members
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes

Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice
• Current CPR Certification
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses (preferred)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; may involve lifting up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
• Fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to walk/stand for extended periods
• Additional physical requirements: pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently
• Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions
• A health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter
