Rehab Without Walls is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our Home & Community Program in Reno, Nevada. This role provides meaningful, one-on-one care to individuals with neurological and complex conditions, helping them regain independence in their homes, workplaces, and communities.
About the role
Our therapists deliver individualized occupational therapy services in home and community settings, focusing on improving daily living activities, cognitive skills, and community participation. You will develop and implement goal-driven treatment plans, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and support patients in real-world environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
- Regularly re-assess the effectiveness of treatment plans and attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
- Perform discharge evaluations, provide recommendations for home and community safety, and offer referral and education resources.
- Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient, and family members.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses.
Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Minimum of one year’s work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds; occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures.
- Fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to walk/stand for extended periods.
- Additional physical requirements: pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and frequent positioning.
- Effective and professional communication in verbal and written interactions.
- A health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter.

Pay
Salary Range: USD $110,240.00 - $124,800.00 per year.
