Occupational Therapist

About the role

We are Regency Care of Rogue Valley, a skilled nursing community in Grants Pass, OR, seeking a caring and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our in-house rehabilitation team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, organize, and administer occupational therapy services according to current standards.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and records management.
• Collaborate with therapists, assistants, and other disciplines to enhance patient care.
• Provide safe and timely patient care.
• Develop realistic and documented treatment goals.
• Administer manual exercises and instruct patients in various physical activities.
• Record treatment, response, and progress in patient charts.
• Instruct patients and families in treatment procedures.
• Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices.
• Collaborate with physicians and other staff to integrate occupational therapy with other health care aspects.

Requirements

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current, unrestricted license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the assigned state.

Qualifications

• Caring and compassionate attitude.
• Experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

$5,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.
