Job Summary

RegalCare at Lowell is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join their team in Lowell, MA. The ideal candidate will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients and residents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' and residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote independence, safety, and quality of life
• Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient and resident progress
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current certification as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
• Licensed to practice in the state of Massachusetts
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Caregiver-centered approach to care
