About the role
This is a PRN (per request, not permanent) opportunity to provide occupational therapy services in two unique settings. You can choose to float between an on-site pediatric occupational therapy setting at a manufacturing center or work exclusively at one location.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services and evaluations to patients
- Implement occupational therapy techniques such as P/ROM, joint mobilization, massage, myofascial release, desensitization techniques, and dressing changes
- Achieve patient care time targets, aiming for 75%+ minimum individual patient care time in the outpatient setting
- Keep accurate, detailed documentation efficiently and provide feedback to patients for continuous health improvements
- Deliver care as specified within applicable state practice acts
Requirements
- A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy
- The required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure
- CPR/AED/BLS (basic life support) certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
- The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the entire assigned shift
- A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
- A strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office applications
