Occupational Therapist

About the role

This is a PRN (per request, not permanent) opportunity to provide occupational therapy services in two unique settings. You can choose to float between an on-site pediatric occupational therapy setting at a manufacturing center or work exclusively at one location.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services and evaluations to patients
• Implement occupational therapy techniques such as P/ROM, joint mobilization, massage, myofascial release, desensitization techniques, and dressing changes
• Achieve patient care time targets, aiming for 75%+ minimum individual patient care time in the outpatient setting
• Keep accurate, detailed documentation efficiently and provide feedback to patients for continuous health improvements
• Deliver care as specified within applicable state practice acts

Requirements

• A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy
• The required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure
• CPR/AED/BLS (basic life support) certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
• The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the entire assigned shift
• A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
• The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
• A strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office applications

Shifts are flexible and can be arranged to fit your schedule. Occasional weekend shifts may be required for inpatient care.
