Occupational Therapist

About the Role

Provide one-on-one occupational therapy to older adults in private homes or senior living communities, enhancing mobility, independence, and quality of life through evidence-based treatment plans. Offer flexible treatment scheduling, including in-home, senior living, and virtual visits, with options for full-time, part-time, or PRN roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop personalized care plans.
• Deliver therapy sessions supporting wellness and functional independence.
• Document accurately in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PTs, SLPs, and fitness specialists.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff to promote safety and aging in place.
• Incorporate telehealth and virtual care when appropriate.

Requirements

• Valid OT license.
• Degree from an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Basic EMR (Electronic Medical Records) skills.
• CPR certification.

Physical Demands

• Exerting medium physical effort.
• Assisting with patient transfers.
• Driving to patient locations.
