About the role

The Occupational Therapist at Phoenix provides comprehensive services to home health patients with various impairments and delays. Responsibilities include assessing patients, delivering therapeutic services, educating patients and caregivers, planning discharge, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assess and deliver services to home health patients with neurological, musculoskeletal, orthopedic, cardio-pulmonary impairments, fine motor, sensory motor, and developmental delays.
• Support patients with traumatic injuries and swallowing disorders.
• Educate patients and caregivers.
• Plan patient discharge.
• Consult with other healthcare professionals, clinics, or agencies.

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of MO.
• Home Health experience preferred, not required.
