About the role
Occupational Therapist providing evaluation, therapy services, and supervision of staff in neurorehabilitation settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Administer innovative therapy programs and coordinate home evaluations and exercises.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and community resources.
- Provide training and in-service programs for staff.
- Manage departmental resources and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards and ethical guidelines.
Supervisory duties
- Oversee assigned staff and conduct performance evaluations.
- Handle hiring, disciplinary actions, and support team development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- State licensure and membership in the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
- Preferably one year of experience in neuro-rehabilitation.
- Ability to travel, perform physical tasks, and possess strong communication and teamwork skills.
Pay
$50–$60 per hour.
