Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy program certified by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Valid State Occupational Therapist License
- Experience working with children with autism preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to assess students' functional abilities and identify individualized treatment needs
- Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans, including participation in the development and revision of IEPs
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in grades K–12+ to support academic success and independence
- Evaluate sensory-motor, neuromuscular, psychosocial, and cognitive-perceptual skills that impact student performance
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support student progress and achieve educational goals
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, current professional licensure, and all required continuing education in accordance with agency and state regulations
