Occupational Therapist

About the Role

Provide personalized in-home and senior living care to older adults, focusing on promoting mobility, independence, and wellness through evidence-based occupational therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions to enhance patient outcomes.
• Perform documentation within EMR systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PTs, SLPs, and fitness specialists.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff to support safe aging in place.
• Incorporate telehealth and virtual care to enhance access and flexibility.

Requirements

• Valid Occupational Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Degree from an accredited OT program.
• Proficiency with computers and EMR systems.
• Current CPR certification.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform moderate physical tasks, including lifting and repositioning patients.
• Standing, walking, climbing stairs, and driving to patient locations.
