About the role
We are seeking Occupational Therapists to provide personalized 1:1 rehabilitative therapy for patients recovering from surgeries, illnesses, or accidents in their homes and communities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine needs and develop treatment plans.
- Deliver individualized therapy in patients' homes or care facilities.
- Evaluate patient progress regularly and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Practice independently within an interdisciplinary care team.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of occupational therapy experience or successful completion of a probationary period as a Rehab Intern.
- Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in New York State.
- Valid driver’s license required for areas outside Manhattan.
Skills
- Strong assessment, planning, and patient care skills.
- Ability to respond adaptively to evolving patient needs.
- Independent practice in community settings.
