About the role
The successful candidate will provide direct patient care, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a variety of settings including schools, clinics, and hospitals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as teachers, psychologists, and social workers to ensure comprehensive care.
- Assess patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning to guide treatment planning.
- Document patient progress and communicate with families and referring physicians as needed.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- A current Louisiana Occupational Therapy license.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Proficiency in using occupational therapy assessment tools.
- Knowledge of adaptive equipment and assistive technology.
- Ability to adapt treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Pay
$45,000 - $50,000 annually.
