Occupational Therapist

About the role

This full-time Occupational Therapist works at the main campus within the Pediatric department, providing services Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM. They demonstrate proficiency in assessing and treating pediatric and adolescent patients, and adult care if applicable, using evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Communicate effectively with patients and caregivers to involve them in goal setting and interventions
• Monitor patient progress
• Adjust treatment plans as needed
• Determine appropriate discharge timing
• Collaborate with other professionals within and outside the organization to ensure coordinated care
• Participate in team meetings
• Complete mandatory assignments
• Continuously seek to expand their skills
