Occupational Therapist

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our growing team of clinicians. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of care to children with special needs, focusing on compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for children with developmental disabilities or delays.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for each child.
• Work closely with families to support their children's development and address their unique needs.
• Adapt treatment rooms to accommodate the diverse needs of children and families.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in occupational therapy.

Requirements

• Current Arkansas license as an Occupational Therapist.
• One year of successful experience in a similar position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people, including children and families.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in database, word processing, spreadsheet, and internet software.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety rules, policies, and company documents.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience: One year of successful experience in a similar position or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills

• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work with children aged birth to 6 who are at risk.
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in database, word processing, spreadsheet, and internet software.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.

Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Schedule

The schedule is flexible and tailored to meet the needs of the therapist and the clinic. Full-time positions are available, but part-time options are also considered.
